ADVISORY TO ON-GRID DISTRIBUTION UTILITIES IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NET-METERING PROGRAM

Under the new rules:
𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 – applications now require only four documents: Application Form, Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection (CFEI), Amended Net-Metering Agreement (no notarization required; e-signatures allowed), and COC Application Fee (a copy of Revised COC Form 1 may be accessed here: https://tinyurl.com/3abzk8v7).
𝘓𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘵 – cost of a bi-directional meter for residential consumers is capped at ₱3,000.00
𝘕𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘴 – testing and commissioning of facilities will be conducted by NORDECO at no additional cost to the applicant.
𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 – rebates for exported energy will be reflected starting on the first bill issued after successful commissioning.
These measures are part of the ERC’s efforts to make renewable energy more accessible and affordable for consumers with systems up to 100 kWp.
